SIGN
GATE ARRESTS MADE
March 24 2024
Here's an oddball criminal complaint filed last Thursday.
Each election cycle, many campaign signs pop up
along main arteries. Often those costly placards wind up
missing. Sometimes it's the wind. Other times the
disappearance can be attributed to shenanigans from
opponents for office.
There's a bunch that have swiped the thangs
over the years. Heck they make great practice targets for
instance. The chloroplast plastic material is great
insulation for garage and out building walls too.
Has anyone ever heard of getting arrested for
the sticky finger transgression? We asked two retired Badges
: Have you EVER heard of any such arrests? From both, Nope!
Maybe some person seeking office paid the two listed
below to remove the signs? Now that they are caught, will
Ronnie and or Crystal spill their guts for leniency?
Most of us uncaught criminals knew to do the
thievery after dark. This incident took place at high noon
when many drivers were on the highway.
If found guilty of the crimes, a big fine and jail
time may be issued.
Crime? Let's see now..
The signs were placed on a DOH right of way;
the State Road folks as well as the Sec of State guidelines,
advised, such postings are against the law; and don't do it.
How can the two defendants be found guilty of removing
something that was not suppose to be there to begin with ?
Maybe their best defense would be: Ah Gee Judge, I
was just trying to make the county look better, helping to
remove the blight of those plastic rascals!
