During the
2022 election cycle we saw much improvement on the County Clay
School Board. With three new Boardsters at the helm, 2023
brought good change. That change included bucking the backdoor
meeting trends, installation of many new policies, tossing the
old School Superintendent and installation of Phil Dobbins
replacing the outgoing Super.
The Suits in Charleston don't like it when they
lose control of the new people. Those Suits included the very
top, a State Superintendent. Aided by Larry Gillespie, a coup
was set up in Charleston to disarm the thinking of Sch Bd Prez
Phoebe Nichols.
When Nichols showed strong backbone under pressure and
brain power enough to see such murky actions never happen
again, Phoebe went to work alerting other Big Boys. It wasn't
long until that old State Superintendent lost his job.
We've been holding a copy of Ms Nichols' letterfor
almost a year and are now letting you in the new lady in
leadership here in County Clay, Phoebe Nichols.
