Wagons Roll
Aug 8 2020

Long before the railroad
plowed thru the hillsides, horse drawn vehicles ran the
riverside paths from Charleston North. The Horses are back!

Up until this morning,
hikers and bicycles have been using the ERTS's 22 miles of
travel corridor. Saturday morning, Aug 8th, the first horses
showed up for some fun,

These shots were
taken on the Middle Section ERTS from Dundon heading up river,
North. This group made it up to around mile post 55.

That's the Legg
family having a big time. With the door now open, we're hoping
to see riding clubs take advantage of the new Elk River Trails
System (ERTS) State Park.
