The Cairns of Clay 2020
Updated
as new Cairns Appear
ERTS Hiking trail has about 22 miles open for public use. In
just a couple months of use, Poof! here and there are little
stacks of rocks.
Known as Cairns, years ago, cairns were used to identify
trails. That's been going on for hundreds of years. Now a
days, hikers, bikers, horseback riders stop along their
journey and add the artful gems.
Not sure how long the art will last but it sure adds something
special to the ERTS.
We'd love to add more pics to this page. If you build one or
see one we missed, email a nice clear shot over to us.
