Richard L. Burnside (DOB 12-19-1971) is
a legend in the Little Italy area of Northern County Clay. No not for being
a model citizen or straight shooter. Instead Mr Burnside is the guy often
getting caught for thievery pursuits. His exploits have been going on for
many years. He's back in the news with his latest caper.
Penned by Green Shirt R E Wiseman and
dated Jan 21 2020, here's the shortened version of the Criminal Complaint
on file in the Magistrate's office.
A Mr Jackson advised the Badge on Jan
11th, an unknown suspect or suspects stole 30 12 x 4 x 4 posts. JAckson
said he believed that the suspect traveled on the railroad tracks to his
residence and existed the same way. Badge Wiseman searched the area for
the posts to no aval.
On Jan 18th the Badge was advised that
the posts were taken to a James Franklin Smith residence in Duck WVa
At the Smith residence, Wiseman located
17 posts on Smith's back porch. Smith advised, that a Richard Burnside,
commonly known as Reverend, had brought the posts to his residence one
week earlier, wishing to sell them
Mr Smith stated he questioned Burnside
on where he got the posts due to Burnside having a history of stealing
and selling stolen property. Burnside told Mr Smith , the posts were not
stolen. Smith then bought the posts for $10 a piece.
Mr Jackson was able to identify his posts
which were returned to him.
As for the well known Rev ., he's in the
stuff again. As of March 2nd, Richard Burnside remains on your dime in
CRJ.
