Some things never change and some
folks never change their ways. The youngest of the Murder Mountain clan
is back in the news facing Grand Larceny charges. 26 year old Jacob
Young is the name on the criminal complaint dated Nov. 7 2019. Mr Young
was arraigned before Magistrate Jeff Boggs. Probable cause was found.
Somewhat edited and paraphrased,
here goes with Green Shirt F L Raynor's findings:
On Nov. 6th around 5pm, Badge Raynor spoke
with the owner of Ground Resource LLC who owns several oil
and gas wells in the Ovapa area of Clayberry. Ground Resources supplies
gas to Mountaineer Gas. After a gas outage the worker went out to discover
the problem. The guy discovered a well site that had some equipment stolen.
That same Ground Resource worker discovered
the missing equipment at the old Young property also known as Murder Mountain.
The arresting Badge discovered a large oil tank, a smaller tank, and a
pump jack with an electric motor.
Due to poor road conditions, the Badge
got into a four wheel drive vehicle. Half way out the drill road, Badge
Raynor came face to face with a skid steer operated by Jacob Young.
The skid steer was carrying another skid steer and heading back to where
the other stolen stuff was placed.
Mr Young stated that the equipment was
abandoned on his family's property and didn't think anybody owned it.
Young was arrested on Grand Larceny charges.....
Does any of this sound familiar. Like the same operandi used before? Used like for 10 years or more? That means you have a good rememory. Then there's a the dumb part. Equipment is stolen, hauled less than an a 1/4 mile and set off the skid steer. How dumb dumb dumb dumb
