Maintenance/Electrical Team Member-01011584
This position works as part of the maintenance team focused on providing millwright skills for the finishing area of the mill.
This position will be expected to work within
a team concept and work towards multicrafted maintenance. This position
safely works towards meeting the customer needs through planned, preventive
and predictive maintenance systems. Position will fully cross train in
all areas of maintenance which includes but is not limited to mechanical,
electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic for both troubleshooting and preventive
maintenance. Willing to attend training seminars both on site and off site
as required. Dedicated self-motivated individual who can actively participate
in meetings, team feedback, and performance reviews.
Machine center troubleshooting, repair, assembly and preventative maintenance
Reading blue print and sketches proficiently to fabricate equipment and make modifications
Repair or replace chains; belt conveyors; gear boxes/drive chains; hydraulics & pneumatics
Welding/cutting, and using power tools.
PLC and VFD troubleshooting and replacement.
Ladder Logic knowledge and use.
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge and 3-5 years millwright experience in an industrial environment
Experience in a continuous process work setting and industrial environment
Excellent skills in problem solving and trouble shooting
Knowledge and experience in preventive maintenance techniques
Related technical degree an asset
Knowledge of and experience in safe work practices
Excellent planning and organizing skills
Excellent math and reading skills
Excellent skills in teaching others
Excellent observation skills
Welding and multicraft skills an asset
Excellent people and team work skills
Excellent skills in communication
Ability to work in Confined Spaces
Ability to work at Heights
Basic computer skills in windows system
Willingness to work in upset conditions and exposures to hot and cold
Ability to meet essential job functions such as 50 lb. lifting, bending, stooping, crawling, and fire brigade expectations
Must be able to work day or 12 hour rotating schedules
